Thank you for 1) developing this endoscopic procedure to help babies, 2) your passion, and compassion to help babies with Craniosynostosis, 3) your Web site where we found you, 4) your fabulous and caring staff and team, 5) the process you’ve developed to handle all of the logistics for out-of-towners, 6) your caring and comforting bedside manner, 7) the lock of Elden’s hair, AND most importantly, taking such good care of our little Elden. This world is so blessed to have the two of you. You have touched our hearts and souls so deep-- we are forever changed. We believe that God let us to you to help our son. Thank you that he can now have a normal life. We will never forget you and this experience. We look forward to seeing you during the follow visits. Dr. Jimenez,
As you can imagine, most parents are not prepared to hear that their infant child has to have head surgery to correct a condition that is damaging tot he child's development. Most people, like us, do not even know what Craniosynostosis is, what causes it or even if it is treatable.
When we began our search for a greater understanding of the subject, we came across Dr. Barone and your name several times in referrals, articles, and Internet links. You reputation in this new approach of treating Craniosynostosis is impeccable. Your treatment became very appealing to us due to the lack of trauma not only to the child, but also to the emotional stability of the parents.
I would like to express our sincerest gratitude to you and your team for their hard work, dedication on this new surgery approach and most importantly for the work performed on our son, Myles. We are very happy with the results.
I would also like to recognize Wai-Yee Choi for her role. The information she gave us was very supportive and helpful. Wai-Yee's communication from what to expect once we arrived in the parking lot to what to expect post recovery was as precise as the surgery. Please share our thanks to her.
We realize the helmet is an essential part of the recovery process even though it is the most difficult for us, as parents, to accept. We though we'd share the enhancements we made to the helmet with you. It has made it easier for us to accept it on a daily basis.
Again, thank you for everything. We are confident we made the right choice on Myles's behalf.
